If they reunited right now as they were, there wouldn't be much of a difference in their ability as they went to the New World. They want to get stronger before they meet up so they don't have a repeat of their previous loss. I don't really see how it's being drawn out, I'm sure we won't have to sit though a shit ton of chapters about training, most likely we'll get a time skip. Oda isn't one for drawing training arcs; this isn't Naruto. -------------------- |
